About Indulgence Café
Indulgence Café and Patisserie opened on Bathwick Street in 2011, immediately becoming popular with residents and businesses from the local community and wider Bath area who appear to have become addicted to our coffees and homemade products. The café was established by qualified patisserie chef Katherine Small, whose dream was always to open a feel-good café where customers could enjoy her gorgeous baking. The name, Indulgence Cafe and Patisserie, seemed like an obvious description of the of the vibe we are hoping to create. Everyone likes the idea of spoiling oneself or someone you like with some delicious, freshly baked goodies.
Cakes, biscuits, sandwiches and more…
We prepare all of our delicious cakes and bakes on the premises as well as making and packaging a selection of meringues, biscuits, chocolates, biscotti, fudge and a range of preserves, relishes and chutneys for you to take away. We also provide a selection of savoury creations, soups, sandwiches, salads and daily lunch specials, all made with the freshest, locally sourced ingredients.
A great range of food, all homemade to a very high standard. The café has almost become my second home.

Meet Kath…
Our star baker, Kath, is originally from South Africa where she completed her Patisserie qualifications. She worked in several four and five star hotels in Cape Town before spending five years as Head Pastry Chef at the Convention Centre. Family connections brought her to Bath and she was soon plying her trade at the prestigious Bordeaux Quay restaurant in Bristol, where she learnt about the wonderful West Country ingredients that now go into her fantastic recipes.
